Implementation Standard for Titanium Bars

1. Reference criteria

2. Technical requirements
(1) The chemical composition of titanium and titanium alloy bars shall conform to GB/T 3620.1, and the allowable deviation of chemical composition shall conform to GB/T 3620.2 when repeated checks are required.
(2) The diameter or edge length of the hot-worked bar and its allowable deviation shall conform to Table 1.
(3) The allowable deviation of the diameter of cold-drawn bars shall be in accordance with Table 2 after hot-working, turning (grinding) and cold-rolling.
(4) The non-roundness of hot-processed polished bar after turning (grinding) should not be less than half of its size tolerance.
(5) The indefinite length of processed bar is 300-6000 mm, the indefinite length of annealed bar is 300-2000 mm, and the indefinite length of fixed length or double length should be within the indefinite length range. The allowable deviation of fixed length is +20 mm; the length of double length should also be included in the cut amount of bar, each cut amount is 5 mm. The length of fixed length or double length should be specified in the contract.
